Family fun day at Black Devon Wetlands

Join us for a family fun filled day out and explore the wonderful wildlife and nature RSPB Black Devon Wetlands has to offer. Discover an array of wildlife from what lurks under the water in our ponds, to what buzzes among the wildflowers in the meadow to what soars high in the sky above the reserve with our interactive activities engaging all your senses including pond dipping, bug hunting, bird watching, nature crafts and a nature teddy bear hunt.

Why not bring a picnic down and enjoy relaxing in our picnic area immersed in a haven of nature? You might even be joined by some teddy bears!

All activities will mostly be on a pathed surface or boardwalk, which is suitable for wheelchairs and buggies during dry weather. Walking shoes are recommended and remember to dress for the changeable Scottish weather! The reserve does not have a designated car park, toilets or any other facilities. The best way to access the reserve is via Riverside View, FK101BU. You will find residential parking here and the reserve is a 10-minute walk from the gate. Please be respectful to local residents and park sensibly.  We will welcome you at our picnic area in the reserve.
