After dark guided walk at Black Devon Wetlands

Ever wondered what comes out at RSPB Black Devon Wetlands after dark? Join RSPB staff for a torch lit wander through the trees, along the river and past the ponds to discover the landscape from a completely unique perspective and encounter our different mysterious night-time occupants.

Learn fascinating facts about bats while trying your hand at bat detecting and moth trapping. Finish the night around a warm fire with a hot drink and toasted marshmallows.

The gentle walk will take about an hour and a half, and will mostly stay on a pathed surface, which is suitable for wheelchairs and buggies during dry weather. Walking shoes are recommended and remember to dress for the changeable Scottish weather! Please remember, nature is unpredictable, and we cannot guarantee what we will see. The reserve does not have a designated car park, toilets or any other facilities. The best way to access the reserve is via Riverside View, FK101BU. You will find residential parking here and we will meet you at the gate in Riverside View, the reserve is a 10-minute walk from here. Please be respectful to local residents and park sensibly. We will meet you at the gate in Riverside View.
