Discover Radipole Lake

Nestled in the centre of Weymouth, the reedbeds of Radipole Lake are an unlikely urban home to some stunning wildlife.

New for 2022, Discover Radipole Lake is an opportunity to take a walk around the wonderful Radipole Lake nature reserve, lead by an RSPB guide. Happening every week starting in February, this is a perfect way to discover the wildlife on Weymouth's doorstep and immerse yourself in all that nature has to offer.

Join us for an 1 hour and a half guided walk around the reserve, as we admire the sights and sounds of the wetlands, the tuneful calls of birdsong and the soft movement of the reeds. Watch out for glimpses of Radipole Lake's birdlife or even one of our resident small mammals.

New to nature? This is an introductory level walk, aimed at beginners but open to all. Whether you are local to Weymouth or visiting the area, we would love for you to join us as we take a walk to Discover Radipole Lake.

Older children welcome.
