Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? We do not recommend our walks for children under 8 years old as they last for more than two hours. Arne Nature Reserve, Dorset - The RSPB What can I bring into the event? We recommend suitable outdoor clothing. Apply insect repellent prior to the event. Bring a torch - it will be dark at the end of the event and there is no lighting on the nature reserve. If you have them, please bring your own binoculars and camera, but please do not record other event participants or the volunteer leaders. You may wish to carry a drink and/or snack - a two-course meal and hot or cold drink (from a selection) is included prior the walk. No dogs, except registered assistance dogs please. Do you cater for special dietary needs? Yes, our catering team can cater for any special dietary requirements. Please note these when booking, then let the catering team know when you arrive for your meal. Can I stay on the reserve after the walk? No, Arne is open from dawn to dusk, so the reserve is closed after the Nightjar Walk finishes. How can I contact the organiser with any questions? Email arne@rspb.org.uk. All bookings must be made online. What's the refund policy? If we cancel an event for any reason, you will receive a full refund. Should you need to cancel, then you receive a full refund up to three days before the event, after which no refund is available. Please bring printed or electronic proof of your ticket or email confirmation with you. RSPB members should bring their membership cards with them please. |
