Marvellous Moth Morning - An introduction to Moths

Discover the moths that make their home at RSPB Arne.

Join us to discover what has been attracted to the moth traps overnight and help us identify Arne's marvellous moths. Hopefully we'll discover some masters of camouflage, like buff tips, smart-looking footman, a few stunningly beautiful moths, such as light emeralds and maybe a few huge hawkmoths.

Our café will be opening especially for the event at 9am, so you can purchase a delicious breakfast & drink of your choice.

The traps we use are humane light traps that attract moths. We will release all the moths once we've identified them.
