Incredible invertebrates heathland safari at Pulborough Brooks

Due to the forecast for uncomfortably high temperatures over the weekend we have sadly taken the decision to cancel this event. Guests who have already booked will be contacted and a refund given.

The sandy slopes and dark pools on our heathland are home to some fascinating creatures. You'll have exclusive access to the best areas on the heath and we'll introduce you to some of the incredible invertebrates; dashing dragonflies, stunning spiders, bees wearing pantaloons and beautiful 'jewel wasps'.

Information on access around the trails

Please wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear for your adventure. If you have binoculars then do bring them along.

We explore the wooded-heathland trail on this event and we will also use areas that do not usually have public access. The ground can be uneven in places and may not be suitable for our tramper mobility vehicle. If you do have any mobility issues, please contact us before booking to discuss alternative arrangements.

There is a car park, play area toilets, cafe and shop at the nature reserve.
