Hold Your Birthday Party at RSPB Arne!

Go wild with an RSPB birthday party 

Why not hold your child’s next birthday party at RSPB Arne? We’ll help you throw the perfect party for your little adventurers.  Let our wildlife experts keep them entertained through your choice of 2 specially-designed adventures with nature. 

Will they adventure on a minibeast safari finding the curious creatures that hide in the undergrowth? Maybe they’ll become super sleuths detecting the wildlife all around them as they enjoy a nature walk and scavenger hunt, or perhaps a spot of natural wild art and crafting to entertain your adventurers.

  • Two nature based activities led by RSPB staff (choose below) (1-3pm)

  • Dedicated covered outdoor stretch tent for birthday tea (3-3:30pm)

  • Up to 20 children

  • Perfect for ages 4 to 11

  • Add a birthday tea to the experience and get exclusive use of our outdoor covered stretch tent

  • Add a nature themed present for your adventurers with a range of price options available

Adventures

We have plenty of nature based adventures for you to choose from. Perfect for ages 4-11 years old.

  • Mini beast safari, net sweeping or tree shaking to uncover the wonderous tiny creatures or Arne (these options will depend on the time of year, for example we will not net sweep in spring)

  • A shoreline or woodland scavenger hunt to uncover the wonders of nature

  • Wild Art - let your imagination run wild with beach art, nature sculptures or build a beast!

  • Den building and Wild play area.

Your details will only be used by this event's RSPB co-ordinator and will not be shared with anyone else.

FAQs

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Please bring proof of your ticket and email confirmation of the visit date and time with you. If you booked as an RSPB member, that member needs to bring their membership card with them.

Are there minimum age requirements to enter the event?

We do not recommend our Hire A Guide experiences for children under 6 years old as they last for more than two hours.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

See our website for train, bus, bike, and road options.

Our carpark is located on the right at the beginning of Arne village.

What can I bring into the event?

We recommend suitable outdoor clothing. Bring your own binoculars and camera if you have them. You may wish to carry a drink and/or snack. No dogs, except registered assistance dogs please.

Do you cater for special dietary needs?

Yes, our on-site café our catering team can cater for any special dietary requirements. Please ask the team when ordering your food or beverage.

Can I stay on the reserve after the walk?

If you are an RSPB member you are welcome to make the most of the day and take your time exploring before or after the experience, as entry if free. The Welcome Area opens at 9.30am and the shop and cafe open at 10am and all close at 4pm. Non-members who decide to stay outside of the Hire A Guide session are asked to pay for entry (or join the RSPB) in the Welcome Area.

What's the refund policy?

If we cancel the tour for any reason, or if you need to cancel,  we can reschedule your tour to a suitable date – please contact us. Cancellations/rescheduling must be made using the email address arne@rspb.org.uk Vouchers are valid for a year from the purchase date, but if we need to cancel due to inclement weather, we will extend the voucher validity date.
