Join us for a wonderful night camping out under the stars at RSPB Saltholme.
The Big Wild Sleep Out is a unique opportunity for families to spend a night out in the wild! Join us for a night camping under the stars and connect with nature as the nocturnal wildlife awakens on the reserve.
Take part in fun nature activities and join us for a guided twilight walk around the reserve. Glimpse inside the moth trap and discover some of our small winged creatures! We’ll also be gathering around the campfire for some campfire cooking and to share stories.
New for 2022, join us on a fish and chip run for dinner! Or you can still bring along a camping stove or BBQ if you want to cook yourself.
As the sunsets we'll crawl in our tents and drift off to sleep listening to the sounds of Saltholme's amazing wildlife.
Saltholme is a closed reserve overnight, so our Big Wild Sleepout really is a unique opportunity to spend time here when nobody else is around.
Please arrive at the Visitor Centre between 4pm and 5pm. Directions can be found on our website www.rspb.org.uk/saltholme, our postcode is TS2 1TU.
