Meadows Day, Picnic and Play.

July 2nd is Meadows Day at RSPB Lake Vyrnwy. Funded by Powys Council's "Summer Of Fun" programme and supported by the local community, we're offering a free day out for you and your family to enjoy the beauty and nature of Lake Vyrnwy. You'll even get lunch provided!

The morning will be spent exploring one of Lake Vyrnwy's absolutely stunning meadows. Led by our expert warden, you will learn the importance of conserving our natural habitat as you are guided through the many beautiful plants, insects and wildlife that rely on our healthy meadows to survive and thrive.

You will then return to the dam to collect your picnic, provided by Dafarn Newydd, the shop in the village. Take your picnic to the sculpture park to enjoy while watching a short play, produced and performed by Masquerade Theatre Group in collaboration with Mencap and Designs in Mind.

Please book early as this free event has limited availability.
