Arne from War to Peace and Back to Nature

Join our excellent guides on a walk which will reveal the dramatic events of a summer’s night 80 years ago, which changed life at Arne forever. Our story tells how the terror of war devastated this small community that night and the trauma of the exodus which was to follow. Then learn of a truly remarkable story of bravery and endurance which paved the way to a glorious return to this peaceful little backwater and the wonderful world of nature as we know it today.

Part of Arne's History Week. We'll be going behind the scenes and exploring areas of the reserve usually closed to the public for this exclusive guided walk, bringing Arne's past to life!
