Stargazing for beginners - Fully Booked. Please see our alternative event in March 2023

Stargazing is a magical way to connect with nature on a universal scale. You’re guaranteed to be left awestruck by the sheer size and beauty of the night sky. We’re so passionate about those starry night skies around Titchwell that we became a Dark Skies Discovery Site. Simply put, we have ultra dark skies that make us the perfect location to do a bit of stargazing.

If you’d like to learn how to spot stars then join us for an introduction to stargazing with the Kings Lynn and District Astronomy Society.  Our experts will share their tips on how to get the most out of an evening under the stars including how to spot objects with the naked eye.

During the evening you'll have a chance to view the heavens through solar and reflecting telescopes concentrating on Saturn with her beautiful ring system and Jupiter with three of his brightest moons on show.  As darkness falls you’ll be astounded by magical views of the Milky Way directly overhead plus the many more wonderful sights to see.
