RSPB St Aidan's provides one mobility scooter (Freerider) to enable greater access to nature for a greater number of our visitors.
Hiring the mobility scooter is extremely popular so to avoid disappointment please book in advance by calling the Little Owl Cafe (0113 232 0529). Please inform us of your expected time of arrival so we can have ensure the scooter is charged and ready for your adventure! Each booking is available from 10am and gives you the use of the mobility vehicle all day. Bookings close at 4pm each day for the following day's hire.
We will need your confirmation and agreement to our Mobility Vehicle Health and Safety Declaration on the day. We reserve the right to refuse this service if we feel you are putting yourself and other visitors at risk.
Whilst the use of these scooters are free of charge, if you feel able and willing to donate to the running costs and maintenance of the vehicles, we’d really appreciate your contribution on a Pay as You Feel basis at the reserve on the day of hire.
