Come and explore Lancashire's RSPB Leighton Moss during National Lottery Open Week with your lottery ticket or scratchcard and get free entry between 18 and 26 March*.
Leighton Moss boasts the largest reedbed in north-west England and is home to a wonderful array of spectacular wildlife including otters, bearded tits, marsh harriers, egrets and red deer. There are amazing sights to see and hear all year round. In spring see the return of breeding marsh harriers engage in stunning aerial sky dances and listen carefully as the reedbeds come alive with the sound of singing warblers.
With so much to enjoy for everyone, the reserve boasts several viewpoints, hides and trails including the Garden Trail which takes you through our sensory garden and 9m high sky tower or choose the pushchair friendly Family trail through woodlands.
Then after a busy day relax in our cafe serving vegan and vegetarian options as well as takeaways to enjoy on the go or at one of the many picnic areas dotted around the site. Children are very welcome and high chairs and children’s books are provided in the café as well as the option to request small or half size meals.
So, we hope you agree, there's a huge amount to see, hear and do at Leighton Moss. Simply bring your National Lottery ticket or scatchcard and let us say #ThanksToYou for supporting us with free entry all week. Or, if you're already a member then why not encourage your friends and family to visit with you?
