The Titchwell Experience

To celebrate Titchwell’s 50th birthday, we’re offering you a unique opportunity to discover the reserve’s wildlife in the company of our species experts. You'll start your day with our moth specialists looking at who spent the night in our traps. Then join Ray Kimber, author of Titchwell Tales as he takes you on a journey beneath tall trees, through whispering reedbeds, alongside wildflower meadows and onto our unspoilt beach. You'll look at invertebrates, fungi, lichens and other flora along the way. But you're bound to spot the odd bird or two so keep your eyes peeled.

After a scrummy lunch in the cafe, you'll spend the afternoon with one of our experienced bird guides looking specifically for a wide variety of species across wetland and woodland habitats before heading back to the beach to look for shoreline and seabirds.

From fragile moths to impressive raptors, expect to see between 200 and 300 different species of wildlife during the day.
