Are you ready for a roarsome adventure? There have been reports of dinosaurs roaming our reserve and laying eggs all over the place. We need your help to locate these eggs before they hatch!
Armed with the dinosaur’s explorers trail sheet, find the dinosaur nests hidden on the reserve. Tell us where the eggs are and pick up your reward from our reception hide.
Along the way learn more about the amazing wildlife that would have been around alongside the dinosaurs, make your own fossil to take home and potentially come face to face with a modern dinosaur.
No need to book, just turn up on the day and pick up your trail from Reception. Trails cost £3.50. Normal reserve entry fees apply for non-RSPB members.
Self-led pond dipping will also be available over the Easter holidays - discover the creatures lurking in the hidden depths of the waters at Strumpshaw Fen! Pond equipment is available to hire from Reception for £3 per kit.
