Family pond dipping at RSPB Ham Wall

There’s a secret world hidden all around us, full of amazing creatures...

This is a fun activity aimed at exploring our pond habitat and the different creatures which live there!

This event is aimed at families with children aged between 5-12 years. Each time-slot booking is for 1 child and up to 1 adult (aged 18 years and over) to pond dip for 45 minutes. An adult can supervise a maximum of 2 children. Please ensure children are supervised at all times. For full information, please check the ticket attached to your booking confirmation email.

Book in advance to avoid disappointment.

Tickets are:

£4.50 for child RSPB members

£5.50 for child RSPB non-members.

Cost includes a 50p booking fee.

The pond dipping platform is hardstanding, with a gravel path to reach it.

Admission to Ham Wall nature reserve is free for RSPB members (please display your membership card on your dashboard), parking fees (£3 all day) apply for non RSPB members.

There are 8 pond dipping stations. If you have not booked in advance and they are full when you arrive, if there is availability at a later time slot you will be given a time to return and you can purchase tickets from the Info Point.
