Big Wild Pyjama Party at Titchwell Marsh

Join us for a party with a difference and experience the sights and sounds of nature as it settles down for the night. Bring your young explorers to Titchwell Marsh and discover who’s still awake as the sun sets over the marsh.

We'll take a meander along winding trails looking out for emerging nightlife, stopping off at the dragonfly pond to search for aquatic mini-beasts lurking in its depths. We'll listen to the final calls of wildlife that's settling down for the night and we may even spot some bats skimming over the water. You can learn about one of our favourite night time visitors, the barn owl and we'll have a close look at what they've had for dinner as we dissect some owl pellets. What will you find?

If you've got a budding Bear Grylls in your pack then they're bound to love our bushcraft session cooking damper bread over an open fire and learning how to whittle. We'll also have time for everyone to make some natural art to take home, all under the spell of Titchwell's leafy woodlands.

After some old-fashioned party games, it will be time for sleepy heads to wend their way to bed. Like all great parties, your wildlife explorers will have a Pyjama Party goodie bag to take home. There will be a prize for the best pyjamas on parade so make sure you come dressed for bed!

Due to the nature of the activities, this event is most suitable for children aged 5-10 years.
