Join us this weekend and discover the delights of the Autumn Trail in the company of an experienced guide.
Willow Wood on the east side of the reserve is a successful winter roosting site for little egrets but as spring approaches, little egrets and grey herons move to other locations to breed. Our conservation strategy to encourage these birds to breed at Titchwell is to disturb their roosting site as little as possible which is why the Autumn trail and part of the East Trail are closed from November to August.
During the walk, you'll visit those areas of the reserve normally closed to visitors and discover for yourself the hidden treasures of the East Trail and beyond. You'll have good views of Willow Wood, Spoonbill Island, the East Pond and the breeding sites of our resident Marsh Harriers.
