There is a very special visitor coming to Saltholme on 9 December... he wears a red suit, has a long white beard and likes mince pies!
That's right, Santa is coming to Saltholme! And he's bringing craft activities, hot chocolate and gifts. Book tickets to come along and see him!
The Discovery Zone and Father Christmas experience are fully accessible to pushchairs and wheelchairs.
Why not make a day of your visit by exploring our reserve, taking part in our festive trail and warming up in our cafe? Places are limited and must be booked in advance.
Booking Information
Visits to see Father Christmas must be pre-booked online. You can arrive at the Discovery Zone at any time during your booked slot. Your visit with Father Christmas will last about 5 minutes. Once you have booked your visit you will receive a booking confirmation email. You will need to show this when you arrive.A child ticket to visit Father Christmas includes a gift and entry to the reserve for the child and two adults. An additional child ticket includes the gift and entry to the reserve for the child. All children must be accompanied by an adult at all times during your visit. If any additional adults want to join the visit they will need to pay the relevant entry fee on the day.
On the day of your visit
On the day, please show your booking confirmation email to a member of staff on arrival. Please arrive at the grotto within your booked time slot.
