This event is not to be missed if you can manage an early morning in December. Before the sun begins to rise we head out onto the reserve ready to witness the starlings who roosted the night before, take off and use the reedbed as a runway. Once all the starlings have made their way overhead to feed for the day we will continue on round the reserve with the hope of seeing some early rising wildlife. Please note, this event begins in the dark and so torches and warm clothes are recommended. There will be a charge of £4 for non RSPB members for the carpark.
