Wild Woodlands

Come and join us at Quarrymill Woodland Park for a morning of play and discovery!

The emphasis of this event is on child led play and exploration of nature. We will start with a walk into the woods followed by lots of seasonal and nature inspired fun.

The event is aimed at children aged 2-5 years old but younger and older siblings/children are also welcome (please select non participating child ticket at checkout).

These events are part of the Growing up with Quarrymill Project which is a partnership between RSPB Scotland and the Gannochy Trust who fund the work we do at Quarrymill.

There is no charge for this event.

What will we be doing?

Each session will be based roughly around a different theme and story book. We will begin with the story and then have some activities linked to the story for the children to explore. We will then come back together for a little snack (exploring the outdoors can be hungry work!) and the children can do some free exploring of the woodland watching out for things we can see. Once the session is finished, you can then continue your fun at Quarrymill if you wish.

What should we bring?

We will spend the whole session outside so please bring:

Where do we meet?

We will meet at the car park next to the Old Parish Church in Scone at 10.00am (nearest postcode is PH2 6LP). We will send out a reminder email confirming the meeting place the day before the session with any additional information for the day (regarding weather etc).
