Harriers at Sunrise at RSPB Titchwell Marsh

Get ready to bundle up and join us for a VIP experience deep in the heart of the reserve. Experience the thrill of watching harriers leave their night time roost and take flight over Titchwell’s reedbeds. You'll be uniquely placed inside one of our monitoring hides to have close-up views of these majestic birds.

The warden's hide is tucked away in a remote part of the reedbeds, so we suggest donning your best waterproof gear and trusty boots. But no worries, you can bring along a hot drink to conquer the cold and we’ll wrap up your adventure with a hearty breakfast in our warm and cosy cafe.

Whether you are an avid bird watcher or simply enjoy the beauty of nature, this memorable experience is not to be missed and is a 'must do' for raptor lovers and budding wardens. Due to the risk of wildlife disturbance, this event is limited to two people per morning and is suitable for 16 years plus only. All visitors aged between 16 and 18 years must be accompanied by a full paying adult.

Please note that the monitoring hide is quite snug, so room for binoculars only and you will need to be fit enough to climb the ladder into the hide (please see image at the bottom of this page)
