Twelfth Night and the Fools' Parade

Christmas is over and so is the pardon for the outlaws!

After being stripped of his powers over Christmas, the Sheriff of Nottingham will again take control of the ancient greenwood at this traditional ceremony, setting out from the edge of the forest to the Major Oak at its heart.

Will Robin Hood and his merry band make good their escape before the Sheriff is able to set his forces on the hunt for the outlaws once again? Prepare yourselves for the inevitable battle that will occur between The Sheriff's formidable forces and the legendary outlaws.

This is a free event, although there may be a small charge for some activities. Parking costs just £5 per vehicle per day at Sherwood for non-RSPB members, and helps the RSPB to carry out its vital conservation work, but there is no admission charge to enter the reserve.
