Stargazing is a magical way to connect with nature on a universal scale. You’re guaranteed to be left awestruck by the sheer size and beauty of the night sky. We’re so passionate about those starry night skies around Titchwell that we became a Dark Skies Discovery Site. Simply put, we have ultra dark skies that make us the perfect location to do a bit of stargazing.
Join us for an evening exploring the night sky with the Kings Lynn and District Astronomy Society. Our experts will share their tips on how to get the most out of an evening under the stars including how to spot objects with the naked eye, identify some common star clusters and constellations and how to progress your interest further.
During the evening you'll have a chance to view the heavens through solar and reflecting telescopes concentrating on the two brightest planets in our solar system, Jupiter and Saturn. It promises to be a moonless sky so you will have great views of the Milky Way and it's constellations.
Remember to wrap up warm and bring a torch with you!
