Visit us between the 9 and 17 March at RSPB Lakenheath Fen for National Lottery Open Week and you get free entry!
Just show us your National Lottery ticket or scratchcard past or present*.
With big skies, extensive reedbeds and booming bitterns it's a great time to come and see (and hear!) how the RSPB has transformed these former carrot fields into a magical wetland home for kingfishers, cranes, otters and water voles.
Lakenheath Fen forms part of a broader network of wetlands across the fenland region, that will both restore its former biodiversity and help protect it from the threats posed by rising sea levels.
Choose from over six miles of trails to help you explore this amazing landscape and the wildlife that calls it home. Stop off along the way at our mere hide or one of several viewpoints designed as the perfect place to spot the special wildlife here and offer outstanding views over RSPB Lakenheath Fen. Our Brandon Fen family trail also has several outdoor activities on the go for children to explore. Both the picnic area by the Visitor Centre and the Brandon Fen trail are pushchair and parent friendly, with hot drinks and snacks available in our visitor centre.
So come and claim your free entry by bringing your National Lottery ticket or scratchcard, we'd love to say #ThanksToYou for supporting us. If you're already a member then why not encourage your friends and family to discover this wonderful wildlife haven for free?
