This is an event created and led by women, for women. This photography event provides an opportunity for those who may not feel comfortable photographing in a mix sex group, offering a relaxed and comfortable situation to ask questions and take photos. Victoria is also hosting a Dragonfly and Damselfly Photography Workshop on 1st June which is open to everyone. Join Victoria Hillman and delve into the world of dragonfly & damselfly photography. This half day workshop will explore how to photograph these beautiful and charismatic species, from where to look for and how to find them through to how to photograph them in their natural habitat causing minimal disturbance, we'll explore capturing portraits, behaviours and in habitat images.

Victoria is a Wildlife Researcher, Photographer, Artist, Writer and Guide. She will be running courses at Ham Wall throughout the year including 'Dragonfly & Damselfly Photography' and 'Nature Photography for 12-16 year olds'. The workshop takes place across rough and uneven terrain, including patches of long grass unsuitable for wheels. There may also be some optional laying on the ground. The tour will have a relaxed pace with breaks to sit and rest but there will be prolonged periods of standing and some walking involved.

Who is welcome to attend the event? This event is open to anyone who identifies as a woman. We also welcome non-binary people who feel comfortable in a women's only space to this event.

Are there minimum age requirements to enter the event? The minimum age requirement for this event is 18 years of age.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? Please bring either printed or electronic proof of your ticket and email confirmation of the visit date and time with you. If you booked as an RSPB member, that member needs to bring their membership card with them.

What do I need to bring? Please see equipment list above. Dress appropriately for the weather and condition, including sturdy footwear. Wet weather gear should be brought just in case. You may wish to bring a drink and/or snack.

Can I bring my dog? No dogs, except registered assistance dogs please.

What's the refund policy? If unforeseen circumstances cause RSPB Ham Wall to cancel an event, all ticket holders will be informed, and a full refund will be issued.
