Rise early and experience the magic of the dawn chorus.
Arriving in the dark we'll hope to hear the incredible song of Nightingales and then enjoy the concert as the dawn breaks all our other songsters add their voices to the choir. Our expert guides will lead you around the reserve to enjoy the performance and identify the different voices and then we’ll return to the Visitor Centre for tea, coffee and breakfast pastries.
Information on access around the trails
Please wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear for your adventure - it can get chilly early in the morning when we've paused at one of our bird song 'hot spots'. If you have binoculars then do bring them along.
We'll be out on the reserve for approximately 3 hours, covering just over 2 miles.
Your event ticket includes nature trail entry fees where applicable but does not include the parking charge. (Parking charge for non-members £3 per day).
The paths are suitable for pushchairs and our tramper mobility buggy (which must be booked in advance). Dogs, other than assistance dogs, are not permitted on this trail.
There is a car park, play area toilets, cafe and shop at the nature reserve.
