Birdsong masterclass at Pulborough Brooks (The Warblers)

Ever wondered who is serenading you from the hedgerows and woodland?  Join us for a morning on our beautiful nature reserve where we’ll help you get to grips with birdsong and start to distinguish one song from another.

We’ll begin with a short walk to simply enjoy the morning birdsong before returning to the visitor centre for a workshop on birdsong identification, tea, coffee and biscuits. We’ll then head outside for a second walk where we can put things into practise!

This session will introduce you to our spring arrivals – the warblers and a few other new arrivals. Out in the field we’ll be split into smaller groups so you’ll benefit from plenty of hints and tips from your expert guides.

Information on access around the trails

Please wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear for your adventure. If you have binoculars then do bring them along.

We will use the wooded heathland trail and the wetland nature trail during this session. If you have limited mobility please contact the team at RSPB Pulborough Brooks to discuss access and possible use of our Tramper mobility vehicle.

Your event ticket includes nature trail entry fees where applicable but does not include the parking charge. (Parking charge for non-members £3 per day)

There is a car park, play area toilets, cafe and shop at the nature reserve.
