Night time safari at Pulborough Brooks - the evening chorus

We’ll begin with a short talk introducing you to birdsong and some of our special spring visitors. And as dusk falls we’ll enjoy birdsong out on the reserve as the Song Thrush, Blackbird and, if we’re lucky, the Nightingale perform their evening chorus. Your expert guides will also have bat detectors and will help you seek out other nocturnal wildlife.

We’ll return to the Visitor Centre and enjoy a hot drink in the café before heading back out for a very short walk in the dark to listen out for our Nightingales singing into the night.

Information on access around the trails

Please wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear for your adventure - it can get chilly in the evenings when we've paused at one of our bird song 'hot spots'. If you have binoculars then do bring them along.

Your event ticket includes nature trail entry fees where applicable but does not include the parking charge. (Parking charge for non-members £3 per day)

The paths are suitable for pushchairs and our tramper mobility buggy (which must be booked in advance). Dogs, other than assistance dogs, are not permitted on this trail.

There is a car park, play area toilets, cafe and shop at the nature reserve.
