The not quite dawn chorus at Pulborough Brooks

If you’re keen to enjoy incredible bird song but don’t want to wake up at 3 am, this is the event for you!

We’ll hope to see and hear our most celebrated songster – the Nightingale. Despite their name, Nightingales will sing during the day time and they’ll be joined by a choir of brilliant warblers. Our expert guides will lead you around the reserve to enjoy the performance.

By the time we return to the Visitor Centre, the café will be open so you can treat yourself to breakfast!

Information on access around the trails

Please wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear for your adventure - it can get chilly early in the morning when we've paused at one of our bird song 'hot spots'. If you have binoculars then do bring them along.

We'll be out on the reserve for approximately 3 hours, covering just over 2 miles.

Your event ticket includes nature trail entry fees where applicable but does not include the parking charge. (Parking charge for non-members £3 per day).

The paths are suitable for pushchairs and our tramper mobility buggy (which must be booked in advance). Dogs, other than assistance dogs, are not permitted on this trail.

There is a car park, play area toilets, cafe and shop at the nature reserve.
