Willow Obelisk Workshop

Join us for a creative and inspiring morning of willow weaving to make something uniquely yours to take pride of place at home.

Mixed-media artist David Evans will teach you the techniques of weaving with this versatile natural material, starting with the basic structure and building up to a finished obelisk, which can take pride of place in your garden or yard.

This workshop is perfect for anyone who loves gardening or wants to add a unique and beautiful accent to their outdoor space.

As well as David’s expert guidance, we will provide all the materials and tools you need, including freshly harvested willow branches and scissors.

During the workshop, you will learn how to select the best willow branches and prepare them for weaving, and how to create a sturdy and aesthetically pleasing structure.

In addition to learning a new skill, this workshop is a wonderful opportunity to meet other creative and like-minded people. You can share your ideas, ask questions, and get inspiration from the fellow participants.

And, by the end of the workshop, you will have a beautiful and functional willow obelisk to take home and enjoy for years to come.

Tea and coffee will be provided.
