Dawn Chorus with a Seabird Twist at RSPB Bempton Cliffs

An early start, but it is worth it! Join our expert guides in a unique dawn chorus walk around the nature trails then along to the cliffs.

Listening to the dawn chorus is one of natures amazing experiences, hear this cacophony of song amongst the grassland and meadows behind the cliffs with our expert guides and knowledgeable volunteers. Listen out for skylarks, reed buntings, yellowhammers, chiffchaffs and willow warblers calling from the scrub.

The walk will follow the nature trail down to the cliffs to see the seabirds take on the dawn chorus. It might not be quite as symphonic but it is equally as spectacular. Spot guillemots and razorbills calling from their ledges, gannets preening one another and perhaps the sight of an elusive puffin coming back to the cliffs from a feeding trip.

Following this head up to the seabird centre for a complimentary breakfast and hot drink from our picnic area overlooking the cliffs. This is also a great opportunity to ask the team any questions you may have about the reserve and the wildlife that calls this place home.
