Discover, Learn and Play with your little one – a programme of events for under 5’s and their grownups!
Enjoy stories, crafts and activities as we use our senses to explore nature together! Each session will focus on a different theme including listening, playing and seasonal nature spotting.
The theme of this session will be Signs of spring we will be exploring what signs of spring we can see and celebrating all the colours and new life on the reserve.
Each session also includes opportunities to play and get messy with our mud kitchen, water play, bug hunting and other nature inspired activities.

Cost: £5 per session (RSPB Members £4.20)
Siblings £2 (+ fees)
Pre-walkers FREE and do not require a ticket (when accompanying an older sibling).
Timings: Sessions run from 10.30 am - 12 noon.
Age range
These sessions are designed for children between 2 ½ and 5 years, however we do welcome under 18 month olds when attending with an older sibling. Pre-walkers are also welcome with an older sibling and are free.
Refreshments
Please bring your own refreshments for the session. The first section is very relaxed and free play based so you are welcome to pause for snack when ever suits your little one.
A hot chocolate is offered for children during story time part way through the session.
