Join our RSPB Sutton Fen warden in a very small group to explore this precious jewel of a nature reserve.
With exclusive access to this species-rich reserve, normally not open to the public, you will step into an unspoiled wilderness.
Journeying through the lush vegetation around you, feel the tingle of wonder as you spot the rare fen orchid, its small yellow-green star-like flowers sparkling in the fen. Be serenaded by a range of bird species such as bearded tits, bitterns, cranes, reed and sedge warblers. Watch the dance of darting dragonflies and a butterfly flutter past overhead, with the chance that one of these might be a Norfolk rarity, the Norfolk Hawker and Swallowtail butterfly.
So, get off the beaten track and experience this amazing, undiscovered world!
Please note that this event will involve walking over uneven boggy ground. A reasonable level of walking fitness is required.
