Join the Reserve Warden on a Dawn Chorus walk through the old oak woodland of Nagshead nature reserve. National Dawn Chorus Day is filled with the songs and sounds of many of our resident and migratory bird species including pied flycatcher, firecrest, wood warbler, song thrush, nuthatch, tree creeper and many more. Learn about these birds as we walk through the woodland looking and listening out for them.
Please wear suitable footwear for walking on forest paths and wrap up warmly as it can be cold early in the morning/at night. Toilets are available at the Visitor Centre at the start and end of the walk. There are no refreshments available, so you may wish to bring water. This event is not suitable for dogs.
Please try and arrive at least five minutes before the start of the walk so that we can begin on time. If you are running late or unable to come, please contact the walk organiser on 07702 508766.
For any queries, please email nagshead@rspb.org.uk.
