South Stack boasts incredible views. From towering granite sea cliffs to one of the UK’s most iconic lighthouses nestled in amongst a blanket of purple heath. It’s an incredible place to visit, especially for those of you who enjoy taking photos.
Join Hanna Baguley, an experienced photographer for our Guided Photography Walk. A unique and creative way of engaging with the landscape, biodiversity, history and the geology on the reserve. As attendees you will journey across the reserve and stop at three incredible viewpoints: Ellin’s Tower, South Stack Lighthouse and Mynydd Twr. During this time, you will be offered advice regarding location, background and foreground, lighting and weather, along with some technical elements.

Suitable clothing and footwear.Water and snacks if required.
- DSLR Camera / Digital Camera / Mobile Phone with a good quality camera.
- Tripod (optional)Suitable lenses (for those bringing DSLR's)
- Suitable rucksack / camera bag.Sun cream if weather is hot.
Is there a minimum age requirement for the event?
The event is open to individuals 16 years of age and above. Please note that anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult above the age of 18.
What parking and facilities are available at the reserve?
Please park at the main Visitor Centre car park. Cycle racks are available there should you need them as well as toilets, café, and shop. A member of staff will be at the Visitor Centre to greet you upon your arrival.
Are dogs permitted at the event?
Although dogs are allowed on the reserve, please refrain from bringing them to this event.
On the rare occurrence that we would need to cancel the event, we will issue you with a full refund. Should you wish to cancel, a full refund will be issued should we receive three days’ notice or more. To make a cancellation please call us on 01407 762 100.
Proof of Purchase.
Upon arrival at the Visitor Centre, you will need to show either your confirmation email or a printed ticket. RSPB members should also bring along their membership cards.
