Discover RSPB Lodmoor, a quiet haven for wildlife in the popular seaside town of Weymouth.
Featuring a large mix of wetland habitats including reedbeds, open water, saltmarsh, wet grassland, and scrub. This site attracts a stunning variety of wildlife from magnificent Marsh Harriers to secretive Bitterns.
Join us for a 2 hour guided walk with our expert guides. A great opportunity to discover the wildlife on Weymouth's doorstep and immerse yourself in nature.
This is an introductory level walk, aimed at beginners but open to all.
Learn about and look out for the birdlife and small mammals that rely on this reserve. Admire the views across the expansive marshland, and listen to the melodic birdsong and soft movement of the reeds as we Discover Lodmoor.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? Older children allowed, for more information please email: weymouth.reserves@rspb.org.uk.

What can I bring into the event? We recommend suitable outdoor clothing. You may wish to carry a drink and/or snack. No dogs, except registered assistance dogs please.
Do you cater for special dietary needs? No food included in event
Can I stay on the reserve after the walk? Yes, Lodmoor is open all day every day! So, make the most of the early start and take your time exploring at your leisure after the walk.
How can I contact the organiser with any questions? Email: weymouth.reserves@rspb.org.uk. All bookings must be made online.
What's the refund policy? If we cancel an event for any reason, you will receive a full refund. Should you need to cancel, then you receive a full refund up to three days before the event, after which no refund is available. Cancellations must be made using the email address weymouth.reserves@rspb.org.uk
When will we cancel an event? Many of our events will still go ahead in wet weather. If any events are cancelled, we will contact you via the email address used when booking onto the event. If you have not received an email from us, the event is still going ahead.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? No - Please bring proof of your ticket or email confirmation with you. RSPB members should bring their membership cards with them please.

When booking please provide a valid phone number and e-mail as your booking confirmation will be sent via e-mail. We need a valid phone number (landline and mobile) in case we need to get hold of you urgently to update you with changes/cancellation. Thank you for your co-operation.
