RSPB Old Moor provides three mobility scooters which are available to hire for free to enable greater access to nature for a greater number of our visitors.
These are extremely popular so to avoid disappointment please book in advance by:
Calling us on 01226 751 593.
Giving us booking information, name, contact details and time of hire, including your expected time of arrival so we can have someone ready to give you training.
Each booking is available from 10am until 3.30pm GMT and 10am until 4.30pm BST and gives you the use of the mobility vehicle for either half or a full day.
Bookings are subject to availability and can only be booked within our opening hours.
We will need your confirmation and agreement to our Mobility Vehicle Health and Safety Declaration on the day. We reserve the right to refuse this service if we feel you are putting yourself and other visitors at risk.
These mobility scooters are only for use on RSPB Old Moor reserve.
Whilst the use of these mobility vehicles are free of charge, if you feel able and willing to donate to the running costs and maintenance of the vehicles, we’d really appreciate your contribution on a Pay as You Feel basis at the reserve on the day of hire.
