Birding for Beginners

If you're new to the bird-watching scene or just keen to spot some species that are tricky to find, we've got you covered! Join us as we take a deep dive into Titchwell's vast array of bird species, including seasonal migrants that will be arriving for their Norfolk summer vacation. During the morning we’ll cover garden and hedgerow birds, reedbed species and a variety of birds on the fresh water lagoons.

This two-hour stroll is perfect for newbie birders or those wanting to level up their ID know-how. You'll be part of an intimate group and there will be plenty of time to learn more about this fascinating hobby. Questions? Bring 'em on! Your experienced guide will be on hand to help.

Maximise your experience with a set of binoculars. These can be hired as part of a ticket package or on arrival at the reserve. Just remember to arrive ten minutes early to pick these up from the entry point
