Know before you go
RSPB Fairburn Ings is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and therefore to eliminate disease and invasive species, we cannot accept any kit brought from home.
Pond dipping is a self-led activity from the end of March until the start of October.
Children must always be accompanied by an adult at our events.
All our experiences are outdoors unless specified.
In the case of severely extreme weather, we may cancel the session to maintain a high-quality experience, if this is the case we will get in touch with you.
Please check the forecast before visiting and dress accordingly. Study footwear is always recommended.
