Wonderful wildflowers at Pulborough Brooks

Did you know that Meadowsweet was used as a cure for toothache, that picking Greater Stitchwort could risk you being whisked away by pixies, or that Marsh Thistle provides nectar for at least 80 different species?

Learn about great plants for pollinators, medieval medicines and flowers beloved by fairies; throughout the summer months you can follow our ‘wonderful wildflowers’ trail. As you explore the nature trail you’ll find that we have labelled some of our wildflowers with information on which are most popular with butterflies and bees and some fascinating folklore.

As different plants come into flower we'll be updating the trail throughout the summer.

There’s no need to book. Normal parking charges and nature trail entry charges apply to non-members. Free to RSPB members.
