Always wanted to take your birdwatching skills to the next level? Come join one of our expert guides to seek and listen out for an array of bird species across Arne, no previous experience required. This guided walk will cover everything from optics to identification tips. So whether you wish to find out more about Arne’s heathland specialists, to the birds that can be found in your garden, get the chance to walk around a nature reserve with newfound confidence! The walk will finish with coffee and cake in our café, included in the ticket price.
Please note that the walk may be cancelled at short notice if adverse weather conditions are forecast. Feel free to bring your own optics as you wish. Alternatively, they can be hired from the shop. Off-road mobility trampers are also available to hire – please email arne@rspb.org.uk if this would help you partake in this event.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? Older children allowed.

What can I bring into the event? We recommend suitable outdoor clothing. You may wish to carry a drink and/or snack. No dogs, except registered assistance dogs please.
Do you cater for special dietary needs? Yes, the café can cater for dietary requirements. Gluten free and vegan options are available. Please let us know of these when booking onto this event.
Can I stay on the reserve after the walk? Yes, Arne is open from Dawn to Dusk but you’ll need to pay for entry into the reserve if you stay on beyond the time of the event. So why not make the most of the early start and take your time exploring at your leisure after the walk.

What's the refund policy? If we cancel an event for any reason, you will receive a full refund. Should you need to cancel, then you receive a full refund up to three days before the event, after which no refund is available. Cancellations must be made using the email address arne@rspb.org.uk
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? No - Please bring proof of your ticket or email confirmation with you. RSPB members should bring their membership cards with them please.
