As the last rays of sunlight dip below the horizon and the night-time wildlife emerges, join us for an evening Bat Walk at RSPB Saltholme!
Learn fascinating facts about the UK's only flying mammal, use bat detectors to listen in to their secret conversations and watch these bats hunt over the reedbeds and pools on our reserve. It will be an evening to remember!
Please wear appropriate footwear and dress warmly. If you have a torch or headtorch, please bring this along. This event will last approximately 2 hours.
Please meet in the Visitor Centre at 7:30pm, the Visitor Centre and car park will close as usual at 5pm and re-open at 7:30pm for Bat Walk attendees. There is no access to the Visitor Centre (or toilets) at the end of the event, once the event is over attendees will return directly to the reserve car park.
