After a dark and cold winter it’s time to put a SPRING back in your step so come and take part in our brand new family trail for the Easter holidays!
Learn more about how Spring encourages nature to wake up, spot the colours bursting through and challenge the family on our balance beam. And don’t forget to keep an eye out for the elusive water voles that are calling Rye Meads their home! There’s also a special craft for you to make and take home. No need to book, just show up. The trail is available Sunday – Thursday (we’re closed Friday and Saturday), our opening times are 9am – 5pm.
£2 per trail (there is also a £4 car parking charge for non RSPB members).
Café Lite – we have a limited selection of snacks that can be purchased including; tea, coffee, crisps and ice creams.
Disabled toilets and baby changing facilities are available at the reserve.
This trail is fully wheelchair accessible, following established tracks, although there may be some areas that are muddy due to the rain.
There is also an electric scooter available for hire (please call the reserve on 01992 708383 to book for free, donations welcome - subject to availability).
Dogs – Sorry, no dogs are allowed on the reserve (except for guide dogs and medical assistance dogs).
