Mindfulness in Nature Workshops with Louise Oliver Hypnotherapy, Health and Wellbeing

Join Louise Oliver for a peaceful evening reconnecting to your inner calm in the beautiful setting of RSPB Old Moor.

Louise specialises in helping people to reach their natural state of calm and to relieve anxiety and tension, no matter what is happening in our busy modern world. She runs a successful therapy practice to help individuals overcome their fears and anxieties, but is a firm believer that everyone can benefit from taking time out and looking after their own mental wellbeing.

In this session, she will share her expert knowledge to provide practical and manageable tips and guidance on reconnecting with our peace and strength within. Louise designed the interactive Natural Wellbeing Trail which is on site at RSPB Old Moor and will be sharing ideas on how to get the most out of these activities too. These are evening sessions after the reserve is closed to the public so you can fully relax. Tea and coffee and toilets will be available but the reserve's café and shop will not be open.

Car parking is free. Because this event is after hours, and our shop will be closed, you need to buy tickets in advance.

Accessibility: Old Moor is on the Trans-Pennine Trail so is very accessible locally via foot or bike. Our paths are wheelchair and pushchair friendly and we have mobility scooters available to pre-book for your visit.   We have accessible toilets and baby changing facilities. The classroom where this event will be taking place is directly next to the toilets. If you would like any more information about the events or what to expect you can ring Liz Harding on 07729 627280 or the Old Moor office on 01226 273 830.

Dogs on a lead are welcome within the courtyard but we ask that they don't go inside buildings or onto the wider reserve. Thanks for your understanding.

More about RSPB Old Moor:

RSPB Old Moor is South Yorkshire’s best kept secret: a place to spot some wonderful nature, explore and discover with the kids or just walk around in peace and quiet.  There’s lots to do as a family with our new sensory garden, our playground, wild play areas and pond dipping (Easter to October).  Or, discover a hidden gem away from the hustle and bustle to enjoy nature and take a breather; you could even try our Natural Wellbeing trail.  Stop off at the café for hot food, cake and enjoy a hot drink with a view on our balcony with stunning views across the reserve.  Our shop sells a fantastic range of gifts for all ages, wrapping paper and cards and wildlife care products so you can create a nature haven in your own outdoor space and join us in giving nature a home. The RSPB (Royal Society for the Protection of Birds) is the UK's largest nature conservation charity, inspiring everyone to give nature a home and secure a healthy environment for wildlife. We manage 170 nature reserves across the UK and advocate for wildlife.
