Have you ever spotted a butterfly, dragonfly or damselfly and wondered what it was?
Join us on a walk and learn to tell the difference between Comma butterflies from your Small Tortoiseshells, your Common Blues from your Holly Blues, and even the differences between the males and the females in some species of butterfly!
Along with butterflies, learn to tell the difference between a dragonfly and damselfly, looking out for species such as Emperor or Ruddy Darter dragonflies, or Azure damselflies and Beautiful demoiselles.
A fun event designed to arm you with knowledge of the life cycle of butterflies, dragonflies and damselflies, the food they like to eat, the different species you can see at RSPB Ham Wall and the wetlands habitat they live in.
Warm clothes and sturdy walking shoes are required. The walk includes rough and uneven grass paths unsuitable for wheels. Suitable for ages 10+. Dogs are not permitted on the walk.

What's the refund policy? If unforeseen circumstances cause RSPB Ham Wall to cancel an event, all ticket holders will be informed and a full refund will be issued. Attendees can receive refunds up to 7 days before the event start date. Refunds are subject to an administration fee. We do not offer refunds for cancellations made within 7 days of the event.
