Session #1 Wednesday 8th May – An introduction to Forest Bathing+: covering the basics of Forest Bathing+ and the potential benefits.
Session #2 Wednesday 22nd May – Slowing down your breath & vision: covers the foundations of Forest Bathing+ practices, conscious breathing & slowing down.
Session #3 Thursday 6th June – Going deeper/hearing and smell: develop a more focused Forest Bathing+ practice.
Session #4 Thursday 20th June – Deeping nature connection, touch & empathy: deepening your Forest Bathing+ practice and creating a strong experience and sense of connection with nature and the environment.
Session #5 Thursday 4th July – Growing your practice: encouraging and supporting self-practice and creating a stronger experience and sense of connection with nature and the environment.
Session #6 Thursday 18th July – Celebrating your nature connection journey: bringing all of your Forest Bathing+ skills together!
Research links forest bathing with numerous mental and physical benefits such as reducing stress, improving sleep, boosting mood and memory, and enhancing immune response. During each session of the Nature Connection Series we hope you’ll begin to experience some of these positive changes, while we take a deeper dive into each of our senses and how they create pathways to connect with nature.
Evidence shows that the benefits of forest bathing grow with regular practice, so while all events in the series are bookable individually, we encourage you to take the opportunity to attend as many sessions as possible. This will allow you the time and space to truly root yourself in nature, grow skills that will help you care for yourself and our world, and plant the seeds for a lifetime of wellbeing.
