Join our friendly and knowledgeable guide for an inspiring wader walk where you will learn how to identify Burton Mere Wetlands waders, the key features for their identification and their special habitat's we have here.
This is a two hour walk and aimed at beginners who wish to improve their wader identification and take their knowledge to the next level. We'll explore all the main areas of the reserve to see these birds and explain why and when these fabulous birds decide to visit our unique reserve.
Please dress appropriate for the weather on the day and have sturdy footwear. Bring your binoculars, or you can hire some from us on the day.
We have a new café onsite, so there will be plenty of delicious refreshments for you purchase if you wish after your walk.
