Join local co Down Artist Ruth Osborne and RSPBNI in this natural dye taster session. We will explore the historic practice of creating colour with locally foraged nettles to dye Irish Linen and Wool. Participants will gain insight on how to prepare the fibres, create a dye bath, modify colour, and will take home a range of samples. This session will be held outdoors, but undercover.
