Join community herbalist Leasha Hogan of Grá Fiánta Herbal and RSPBNI in this wild cooking workshop. Together we will forage Nettle and some of her other edible friends and cook a small meal together over the campfire. Participants can expect to gain a deeper understanding of the history of Nettle as food and medicine in Irish folk tradition, you will leave with a full belly, a full heart and see Nettles in an entirely new light. This session will be held outdoors and partly under cover. Suitable for ages 16+. All materials will be provided but please bring a pair of gardening gloves and/or secateurs if you have them.
